Arena Zagreb: Dream Theater Is Coming
The performance of Dream Theater in Zagreb as the only one in the region, is chance for fans of the band and of the progressive metal genre to enjoy an excellent experience.
Zagreb is one of the first cities and the only city in the region where Grammy -winners and pioneers of progressive rock Dream Theater, will perform. The concert will take place in the multifunctional Arena Concert Hall on 29 October. This legendary American band are organising a world tour for the forty years of their activity. The European part of the tour starts on 20 October and ends on 24 November and encompasses 23 European cities.
The anniversary tour entitled 40th Anniversary Tour 2024 – 2025 is also significant because after 14 years, the original drummer of the band Mike Portnoy returned. This means that the setup from the “golden age” of the band is coming to Zagreb, namely James LaBrie, John Myung, John Petrucci and Jordan Rudess.
This cult band is currently working on their sixteenth studio album. The three Grammy nominations received in 2022 in the category of the best performance for the song The Alien as well as 15 million records sold worldwide are a proof of the bond between the pioneers of progressive rock and their audience. They are also ranked at the top of many renowned charts.
The concert in Zagreb will bring three hours of the greatest hits, excellent production and their special combination of humour and laid-back improvisation that thrills their fans around the world.
