Greencajt festival: Let’s Build Sustainable Future Together!
Rapid climate changes require an active and efficient response, which will be defined and supported by Greencajt festival with concrete activities.
The path to sustainable future is the main topic and task of the Greencajt Festival which will take place from 22 to 24 May at the Zagreb Fair. It is the largest regional event dedicated to sustainability. This is the fourth edition of the festival which gathers leading experts and enthusiasts dedicated to shaping sustainable future.
Prominent experts in the field of sustainability, ecology and climate change confirmed their participation at the Greencajt festival. Lučka Kajfež Bogataj, a renowned scientist and a Nobel Peace Prize laureate will give a speech on this occasion as well as Ben Fogle, a recognised conservationist and passionate adventurer who has confirmed his participation. He is famous for his passion for exploring the wild and promoting environmental protection via his projects, books, and television shows. Another speaker at the meeting in Zagreb is Samah El Hage, an expert in innovation management, strategic planning, and engineering strategies whose concrete actions and published books spur curiosity and understanding of technology in all aspects of human life.
In addition to many renowned speakers, the Greencajt festival also gathers private and public sector stakeholders who are dedicated to promoting sustainable practices in various industries and address challenges of green transition.
This inspirational event with participation of a number of respectable Croatian and international experts in the field of sustainability, contributes to the image of Zagreb as a responsible and sustainable destination which generates new ideas and supports their realisation.
The Croatian Environmental Award Green Prix will also be presented at the festival, encompassing seven categories: Green Leader, Green Innovation, The World Belongs to the Youth, Think Globally - Act Locally, Impacting Community, Green Startup and Green Campaign.
The festival, which welcomes all those who want to learn more about sustainability-related topics and act more successfully in that regard, is also a place to socialise and have fun.
