Around Zagreb: An Excursion to Zagorje!

The museum recreates the history of the world and humans in a fascinating way and it is one of the most modern and sophisticated museums in the world. Art lovers should not miss the Antun Augustinčić Gallery which hosts works of one of the most prominent Croatian sculptors and a representative of modern Croatian art Antun Augustinčić (1900 – 1979) who donated his works to his native town Klanjec.
In a search of attractions, during a pleasant excursion to Zagorje you may go to the original folk village of Kumrovec or the Museum of the Peasants’ Revolt as well as museums dedicated to mining traditions, numismatics, old cars and others.
