7th Zagreb Beer Fest: For Fans of Good Music and Cold Beer
A long list of outstanding musicians, excellent atmosphere and many types of beer are reasons that make the Zagreb Beer Fest one of favourite and always well-attended open-air festivals.
In the calendar of fans of great beer and excellent music, the period between 23 and 26 May is booked with the Zagreb Beer Fest. For four days, in the city centre, in dr. Franjo Tuđman Park, there will be open-air concerts given by solo artists and urban, rock, pop and hip-hop bands held free of charge. Beer fans will take on a difficult task but also a joy of choosing among more than 180 types of beer made by beer industry and craft breweries.
The estimates say that so far, the six editions of the festival have been attended by more than 300 000 visitors with last year’s edition breaking the record. During just one last year’s festival evening, the blend of rock and hip hop, pleasant mingling and excellent selection of beer attracted more than 20 000 visitors. It is safe to say that owing to attractive music programme, catering offer and popularity of the Zagreb Beer Fest, new records are to be expected.
