Zagreb Marks World Tourism Day with Special Programs and Discounts

Zagreb Tourist Board once again marks the World Tourism Day (September 27), which aims to emphasize the importance of tourism as one of the most dynamic economy branches, the leader of cultural exchange, sustainable development and international relations, on a global level.

Special events and programs that will be available to all Zagreb residents and its guests during the weekend include:

  • September 27 – attractive and unusual Zagrebian museum collections will be available at 50% discount within the Museums, maybe Participants of this special offer include: Cravaticum Boutique Museum, House of Cartoons Oto Reisinger, Chocolate Museum Zagreb, Museum of Illusions, Museum of Hangovers, Museum of Unfinished Art, New Wave Museum, Video Game History Museum, Travel Experience Museum, HaHaHouse / Museum of Laughter and the Museum of Lost Tales.

  • free thematic Zagreb sightseeing tours:

September 27 and 28: Zagreb Rogueries and the Inn Chronicles at 10:30 AM

                                              Zagreb’s Greatest Love Stories at 4:00 PM

September 28: Zagreb Carousel and Green Walk at 5:00 PM

 

“Zagreb once again marks the World Tourism Day with special programs which represent our city as the centre of cultural tourism in Croatia through stories that are different, interesting and entertaining. I am especially glad that our platform Museums, maybe continues to highlight and promote the unusual and unique museum collections of Zagreb, which had become a recognizable part of the city’s tourist offers. I invite all of my fellow residents and visitors to explore these attractions and join the free sightseeing tours. I would also like to take this opportunity and congratulate this day to the entire tourist industry of Zagreb and Croatia, as well as thank the ones who contribute to the development and recognizability of Zagreb through their work and dedication,” said Martina Bienenfeld, Zagreb Tourist Board director.

We would also like to remind you of the Cravat Regiment guard change, which will take place this Saturday, during which certain characters from the past will also walk through the city. Certain sightseeing tours require prior announcement via a text message (until groups are full).
