Advent Zagreb: An Unforgettable Holiday Tale

This year once again Advent Zagreb will offer visitors an unforgettable holiday experience. After winning the title of the Best Christmas Market in Europe three times, from 30 November 2024 to 7 January 2025 it will attract visitors with activities and programmes turning city sights into a unique Advent story. There will be plenty of music, entertainment, joy and of course excellent flavours for all generations.

Experience and activities from recent years are a reason why this year’s Advent festivities in Zagreb are the talk of the town even before the start. Zagreb is one of the most desirable holiday destinations in Europe, mentioned and announced by world media such as Condé Nast Traveler, CNN, Forbes, National Geographic, Independent, The Times and others.

Even though it is difficult to single out just some out of many city locations, let us mention ice skating rink at King Tomislav Square which is celebrating its ten anniversary this year. It has been providing entertainment in the wonderful urban ambience of one of the most beautiful squares in Zagreb. However, Christmas fairs and exhibitions, romantic areas of Zagreb parks, the foyer of the Croatian National Theatre and icy scenes in the Grič tunnel will also thrill with their atmosphere. There is a rich offer dedicated to children as well as entire families, such as creative workshops, puppet shows and storytelling, all the way to special surprises at the Zoo – Advent adventure at the Wild Heart of the City.
