Innovation centers
A city that encourages entrepreneurship and supports entrepreneurs to turn their business ideas into competitive products – that’s Zagreb.
After the Technology Park and the Zagreb Development Agency, in 2018, ZICER – Zagreb Innovation Center was born. Under one roof, startups and entrepreneurs now receive top-notch support and transform their innovative technological ideas into globally competitive products.
There is also the Innovation Center Nikola Tesla – ICENT. Established in cooperation with the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computing, the Center focuses on creating innovations based on scientific research.
Creating and accelerating innovative and sustainable solutions for current social problems is the mission of the Center for Social Innovation and Sustainable Development (CEDIOR). The center acts as an international think-tank and gathers prominent social innovators, social entrepreneurs, scientists, researchers and activists from various fields.
Zagreb wants to create an innovative and sustainable society, without endangering itself or the environment.
